Nixu is a fast-growing cybersecurity company with 400 enthusiastic specialists in Finland, Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark and Romania. In Benelux Market area, we have ca. 25 employees in two business units in Amsterdam, and Service desk team of 10 in Cluj, Romania. Our People Operations team (POPS) supports our employees and leaders both in local and global roles. To support our growth, we are now looking for an energetic and business-driven HR Manager to join POPS Team.
About the role
You have the overall responsibility of local people matters, as well as office management, and you are part of Market area Leadership team. Your main task will be to support the Benelux Market area by working with a broad range of HR activities in an organization determined on empowered culture and continuous growth. You work close to the business with both operational and tactical HR tasks. Your days vary from hands-on employment life-cycle management to development projects, from solving people cases to coaching leadership in strategic workforce decisions.
The role is very independent and versatile. You will often be the first point of contact in HR related matters for local employees and managers and handle the employment life cycle from end to end, i.e. from recruitment and on-boarding to changes and actions during employment (e.g. payroll, leaves, benefits, employee insurances, healthcare, etc.) to exit process. In this role you will be responsible of, and the first point of contact to service vendors, office suppliers and maintenance partners. On more tactical level your role is to develop and implement processes, policies and tools within POPS area, such as learning & development, compensation & benefits, culture & engagement, etc.
The position is permanent and full-time. You will be based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
What are we looking for?
To succeed in the role, you have few years of experience in a similar position from technology and/or professional services industry and autonomous and entrepreneurial culture. You are familiar with modern HR practices, as well as local employment legislation and personnel administration, compensation and benefits practices. You most likely have a degree in Business, Human Resources or another related field. You are interested in understanding our business and want to contribute to company’s strategic goals.
As a person, you are confident and mature enough to work under pressure and handle also difficult situations. Navigating diplomatically between several stakeholders and their expectations is natural for you. The role requires positive can-do attitude and good communication skills, and you are fluent in Dutch and English. You are not demotivated by administration but want to get also the small things done. At the same time, you can see the big picture and want to give your input in developing our ways of working and achieving our mission, making Nixu the best place to work for cybersecurity professionals.
