To strengthen our People Operations team, we are looking for an HR Specialist to support both local and group HR processes. You solve HR related questions and matters to Nixu’s employees and leaders in a timely, accurate and diplomatic manner. You are familiar with employee life cycle, HR(M) processes and Finnish labor law and practicalities. For example, overtime and vacation rules, leaves and absences, benefit management, and employee insurances & healthcare topics are familiar to you. You support new joiner and exit discussions and other HR processes that are part of employee life cycle. This role requires collaboration with several internal counterparts, like POPS shared service team, finance, operations and legal. In this role you will act as the first point of contact to external service vendors (e.g. occupational health care, pension insurance, car lease etc.) too.
What are we looking for?
You have a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or another related field. The role requires independence, so you most probably already have some years of experience in a similar position. You have knowledge of HR processes and Finnish labor law and you want to keep your skills and knowledge up-to-date.
You flourish under pressure and manage to multi-task with frequent interruptions. You are service oriented and have the ability to work proactively, systematically and independently. You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and you communicate fluently both in English and Finnish. You are not demotivated by administration but want to get also the small things done. At the same time, you can see the big picture and want to give your input in developing our ways of working and achieving our mission, making Nixu the best place to work for cybersecurity professionals.

You will work for geographic area Finland and report to local People Operations Manager. This position is a 1,5 year parental leave substitute.
