We are now looking for an HR & Facilities Support Specialist for our Amsterdam based Benelux team and Romanian Shared Services Team.
In your role you will be the first point of contact for our Benelux and Shared Services Employees. You will have a key role in supporting and working closely together with the local HR Manager on local people matters as well as all aspects of office management. Your main task will be to support both the Benelux Market area and the Shared Services team (remotely) by working with a broad range of HR activities in an organization determined on empowered culture and continuous growth. During a normal workday at Nixu your activities could look like this (amongst others):
• First point of contact for all operational questions
• Hands-on employment life-cycle support
• Planning and scheduling interviews for potential new Nixuans
• Administrative support, e.g. updating our HR system, creating employment contracts etc.
• Keeping processes and policies up to date
• Fleet management
• Ensuring a pleasant work environment for all our employees, by rocking your facilities skills
The role is very independent and versatile. You will often be the first point of contact in HR related matters for local employees and support with the employment life cycle from end to end, i.e. from recruitment and on-boarding to changes and actions during employment (e.g. payroll, leaves, benefits, employee insurances, healthcare, etc.) to exit process. In this role you will be responsible of, and the first point of contact to service vendors, office suppliers and maintenance partners.
This is a full-time position (32 hours is negotiable) and the work is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Are you the next Nixuan?
To succeed in the role, you have 1-3 years of experience in a similar position preferably in a company with an autonomous and entrepreneurial culture. You are familiar with modern HR practices, as well as local employment legislation and personnel administration. You are interested in understanding our business and want to contribute to making Nixu the best place to work for cybersecurity professionals.
As a person, you are confident and mature enough to work under pressure and handle also difficult situations. The role requires a positive can-do attitude and good communication skills, and you are fluent in Dutch and English. You are not demotivated by administration and you do not mind going from HR tasks one moment to facilities tasks the other.
