As a IT Developer, you will have the opportunity to expand your IT product knowledge and develop your development skills while contributing to the DevOps IT services offered by Nixu IT team.
This position is ideal for a Software and Web Applications development-oriented DevOps, with focus on developing new features to NIXU IT platforms with DevOps mindset and experience working in modern software and web applications development process (Agile, TDD).
Also important skills for this position are strong verbal and written English language skills, as well as being passionate about cybersecurity.
Ability to perform NIXU API development operations and capacity to work with Atlassian Jira Service Desk automation development
Developing new features based on internal and customer needs.
Bug fixing and problems investigations.
Test automation development.
Capability of working with Atlassian plugin development by developing and maintaining internal Atlassian plugins.
Proficiency in maintaining VMs and Infrastructure Resources, therefore being able to work with automating application configuration management and deployments (SALT), IaC (Infrastructure as Code).
Experience with Applications Support and System Administration is important, especially Best Practices knowledge in terms of Monitoring and Logs Analysis.
Requirement of understanding systems, environment, configuration, as well as being able to work with incident technical investigations Best Practices (analyze and duplicate incidents, identify user/configuration errors, defects in the products, and recommend workarounds and solutions).
Knowledge of basic Object-oriented languages (mainly Python & Java, Groovy), Mule ESB or similar EIP/ESB technology, CI/CD (GIT, Jenkins) or any other version-control systems, Automation Tools and Frameworks (Saltstack, Robot framework, JMeter).
Understanding of networking, monitoring (Zabbix, ELK stack) and development of systems utilising SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and LDAPs (ActiveDirectory), Unit testing (JUnit, MUnit testing framework).
Hands-on and proofed experience of Microsoft Azure Web Services in a corporate environment.
General knowledge of MIM, Microsoft Office 365, Agile, TDD.
Aptness for proactiveness and ability to work proactively and independently, as well as being able to maintain and update technical documentation.
Being comfortable working in a multinational and multicultural environment.
Propensity to work regularly outside business hours.
Strong English written and verbal communications skills.
Experience and Education
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
2+ years of combined and proven experience in one or more of the following functional areas: DevOps, Software & Web Development, Professional Services for Enterprise Software Systems, Quality Assurance/Engineering for Enterprise Software.
